Controversy About Sean Abbott Phillip Hughes Death

The Australian cricketer Philip Hughes was tragically struck by Sean Abbott on 25th November 2014 during a Sheffield Shield match at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The ball had hit Hughes on the side of his neck, just below the helmet, which was an unprotected area. This caused him a rare and fatal injury called ‘vertebral artery dissection’, which led to a traumatic brain hemorrhage.
