Saud Shakeel is a Pakistani International cricketer from Karachi, Pakistan. He is currently the vice-president of the Pakistani Cricket team. He is a prominent left-handed middle-order batsman for Pakistan. In the year 2021, Saud made his international debut in the One-Day International Format for his team. Sports Career Of Saud Shakeel
As we discuss further in the blog, he is a left-handed middle-order batsman for the Pakistan National Team. He is always known for his consistent performances in different formats of cricket. After having a good career in domestic formats of cricket, he then made his international debut in 2022. Since then, he has been a key part of the Pakistan domestic cricket as well as its international team. Domestic Career
He began his career with his first-class debut in 2015 during the 2015-16 Quaid-E-Azam Trophy. After that, he got selected for Quetta Gladiators back in the 2018 Pakistan Super League player Drafts.
For the Pakistan Television back in 2017-18 Quaid-E-Azam Trophy, he was one of the leading scorers for his team. This shows his potential performance since the beginning of his career. During this tournament, Saud made a total of 488 runs in Seven Matches. In 2018, he was again the leading scorer for the same Quad-E-Azam Trophy. Here, he made a total of 414 runs in just 5 matches.
In the same year, he was also named in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s squad for the Pakistan Cup. During 2018, Saud was also named in the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. Then, in the next year, which means in 2019, he got a chance to play in the Pakistan Cup with the Federal Areas squad.

After having a great career in Domestic format, Suad Shakeel then made his international cricket debut back in 2021. He was named in the Test Cricket squad for the Pakistan National Cricket team against the England Cricket team back in December 2022. Then he was named for the limited-overs Squad for Pakistan’s tours to South Africa and Zimbabwe.
But due to some reason, he was ruled out of the One-Day International matches against South Africa. The reason is his injury during the tournament. But this was not the end for it, he was again getting a chance to be part of the ODI squad for Pakistan’s cricket team against West Indies and England. He also got the chance to become a captain of the Pakistan Shahens for the tour of Sri Lanka.
Then he became part of the Test squad in 2021 and 2022, and he was continuously part of Pakistan.
In the year 2023, Saud was named for Pakistan’s fifteen-man squad for the Cricket World Cup 2023, which took place in India. Then he also made World Cup debut then also played a cameo against Sri Lanka in his second match of the World Cup.
