  • Due to his consistent and improving performances in domestic cricket, he earned a spot for himself in the international squad for Afghanistan in the Under-19 team. He had proven himself in the team by becoming a leading run-scorer in the 2018 Under-19 World Cup.
  • In 2019, Zadran first played in a Test match against Bangladesh, and after that, he played his first ODI and T20I games against the West Indies in the same year.
  • He was the leading run-scorer for Afghanistan in the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup with 240 runs in five matches. This shines his potential as an opener at a very young age. 
  • In November 2022, Ibrahim made 162 runs against Sri Lanka, which was the most runs ever scored in a single ODI by any Afghan player. Ibrahim was named the best player of the series because he scored a total of 278 runs in the series, with an average of 92.66.
