Dayalan Hemalatha took the game of cricket seriously at the age of 17 years when she started training under coach Peter Fernandez in the MAC Spin Foundation in Chennai. She was a talented individual and she developed through age-group cricket.

Domestic Career

Hemalatha was introduced to the Tamil Nadu Under-19 in 2011 and slowly transferred to the senior team.
